Most of us have old tables, dressers, trunks, or other furniture gathering dust in our attics, basements, garages, and barns. We just cannot part with these items because they have sentimental value. My business is about taking these items and transforming them into new items that you can use in your home today. Keep the sentimental value and the stories associated with the old furniture while you enjoy the new stylish piece in your home.

What I’ve Made So Far

Bar Carts
The shelving in the bar carts comes from old tables, dresser drawers, or any other old furniture. The wood can be a hardwood like Cherry, Maple, Oak or Ash, or a softer wood such as Pine, or Poplar.

Coffee Tables
This coffee table is created with old oak boards from a 150 year old hay wagon. They took a year to dry out before we could convert them to this table top.

Stools, Tables and End Tables
Tables and End Tables are perfect for highlighting chairs, sofas, or for holding lamps and plants. This table is constructed from reclaimed pine boards from a neighbor's 100 year old garage. I can build tables to fit any dimensions. The stools can also be customized to your needs.

Coat and Boot Racks
There is nothing more useful than a coat and boot rack in a mudroom, or as a hanging rack in a guest bedroom. This rack was built with old oak boards from a 150 year old hay wagon. It was customized to fit in a 14" x 24" space behind a door. It can be tailored to fit in any space you have available.

Pipe Lamps
The pipe lamps can be constructed to actions and positions that appeal to you most. The pipe is 1/2" black plumbing pipe and the wiring is from Westinghouse Lamp Conversion kits. The bases are fabricated from reclaimed lumber from a variety of sources.

Sometimes it is fun to use old wood, black pipe, paint, and our imaginations to create other kinds of art. Whether you want to reward someone who is a sports fan, musician, writer, reader or anything or everything else. This is a fun and practical way to celebrate whatever is meaningful.

My ancestors were pushcart furniture peddlers and makers in Gary, Indiana, and Chicago almost 100 years ago . Furniture building is in my genes. When I retired from the corporate world I decided to focus on the transformation of old wood furniture into new industrial style furniture by incorporating black plumbing pipe in the designs. I am able to build new custom pieces that fit into your specific spaces. Most importantly, the pieces will continue to have your personal stories built in.
